Ici Vietnam Festival is back for a 3rd edition Cinéma! Since its 1st edition in 2018, our Festival has set the stage for a unique gathering that highlights the creation of authors of Vietnamese origin. In this year of pandemic, we had the joy to be able to maintain the Festival and to bring to you films that look towards the future. Taking you onto a journey of discovery - full of poetry, music and togetherness - through 2 screenings: a 1st screening of the feature film Les Rivières of Mai Hua and a 2nd screening featuring short films. The journey went on with the now customary debates with the attendance of Mai Hua and the directors of The Nodey Process, Maël Lê-Hurand and Vincent Cutter, and an online interview with Truong Minh Quy — to dive deeper into their filmmaking processes and the emotions that brought those films to life.
