THE CITY OF MIRRORS

Truong Minh Quy | 2015 | Vietnam | 14’ | Fiction

“Playing her own role, my grandmother has tried calling my late grandfather several times but his phone was always busy. As she is standing praying in front of his altar on a sunny morning, she receives a call from him. The City of mirrors is a tribute to my grandmother's humble existence. The film archives her voice, images of her, all which will soon fade away.”
