Jeannie Nguyễn is a Vietnamese-American filmmaker born and raised in San Jose, now currently residing in Los Angeles. Her work plunges deep into the social issues of the model minority and creates surreal dream-like narratives to strike a conversation. Her inventive approach to filmmaking, inspired by personal experiences, challenges the way minorities along with social issues are portrayed in the media.
