The film follows Pink, a 9-year-old girl, as she walks to school every day. However, danger lurks on the way to school. Loosely based on a true story, this is a film without dialogue told entirely with feet and shoes.
Hai Di Nguyen grew up in Vietnam. She moved to Norway at the age of 15 and currently lives in Leeds, UK. Before entering Film School, she graduated from the University of Oslo with a BA in European and American Studies. At the Northern Film School at Leeds Beckettl University, she directed three short films and a short documentary. In 2019, her film Footfalls won the Royal Television Society Yorkshire Student Award and special recognition for Most Original Concept at the Prodigy Film Festival.
