Madame Pham is an eighty-year-old Vietnamese woman. Since her husband died, she has lived a withdrawn life, comforted by her little routines. Her everyday existence is turned upside down when Grégoire, her new caregiver, knocks on her door.



Stephane Ly-Cuong is a screenwriter, director and producer. He studied cinema at Paris VIII, Brooklyn College and La Fémis. He has written and directed several musical shows, including Cabaret Jaune Citron and 24 heures de la vie d'une femme. He also directs short films including Feuilles de printemps, with Frédéric Chau and Allée des Jasmins, with Linh-Dan Pham, screened at the 2nd edition of Ici Vietnam Cinéma in 2019. Of Vietnamese origin, he explores in his projects the issue of French-Vietnamese identity. Since 2017, he intervenes at the PSE (Pour un Sourire d'Enfant) school in Phnom Penh to teach film students screenwriting techniques.
