Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Dam Quang Trung is a book editor and a filmmaker from Vietnam. Elephants in the city was his graduation film at Hoa Sen University, Ho Chi Minh City. In 2021, the film won Best Experimental Film at the SEAxSEA Film Festival and competed at the SeaShorts Festival and the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF). Dam Quang Trung is currently working on his project Elephants by the roadside supported by CJ Short Film Making Project.
